Frequently asked questions
How do I restore my purchases?
Open Profile, then IQ Daily Pro and tap Restore at the top right. Use the same Apple ID you bought with. To keep your streak and progress on a new phone, link your account to Sign in with Apple or Google in Profile, then Sign in before you switch.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Go to iOS Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions, then IQ Daily and tap Cancel Subscription. Do it at least 24 hours before your renewal date, or before your free trial ends, to avoid the next charge. Pro stays on until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
Deleting the app or your account doesn’t cancel a subscription. If you bought Lifetime while subscribed, cancel the subscription too: Lifetime already includes everything.
How do I get a refund?
Apple takes every App Store payment, so refunds come from Apple, not from us. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, choose Request a refund and pick the IQ Daily purchase. If Apple refunds it, Pro switches off.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Profile, then Delete account at the bottom of the Profile screen, then tap Continue and Delete forever. Your account is deleted immediately and the app starts fresh. The Privacy Policy lists exactly what’s removed.
It doesn’t cancel an App Store subscription; cancel that in iOS Settings first.
Is the daily puzzle the same for everyone?
Yes. Everyone gets the same puzzle each day, and a new one unlocks at midnight your local time. You get one attempt, and your percentile compares you with everyone who played that same puzzle. Once a puzzle has closed everywhere, anyone can try it on iqdaily.app for practice; web solves don’t count.
How do streak freezes work?
A streak freeze covers one missed day. When you come back, the app uses your freezes automatically, one for each day you missed. If you run out, your streak starts again.
- Free: 1 freeze each month, and you can hold up to 2.
- IQ Daily Pro: 4 freezes each month, and you can hold up to 4.
- Invite a friend: you get 1 more freeze when they play their first daily puzzle (up to 5 from invites).
How does the Arena work?
The Arena is a live knockout at set times. Reserve a seat for the next drop; the lobby opens 10 minutes before the start. Each round is one quick arithmetic question, answered on the keypad. The fastest correct answers go through and every round cuts the field, until two players are left. The final two race to 3 points, and the winner earns a crown. Seasons last four weeks, and the season board ranks players by crowns.
If not enough players turn up, everyone moves to the next drop. Answer times are measured by our server, allowing for your connection, and impossibly fast answers are flagged. There are no real-money prizes.
How do I report a player?
In the app, open Profile, then Friends, tap the player and choose Report. Pick a reason (their handle, cheating or something else), add a note if you like, and block them at the same time if you want. A person reviews every report, usually within a day.
To report someone who isn’t your friend, such as a handle on a leaderboard, a team name or an Arena opponent, email [email protected] with their handle and what happened.
Is this a real IQ test?
No. IQ Daily is a game. The logic index (a game score from your last 30 daily puzzles), percentiles, ratings and ranks compare how you did on our puzzles with other players. They aren’t a clinical or psychometric IQ measurement, and shouldn’t be used to make decisions about anyone. See Scores, not an IQ test.
